Dear Heiko Idensen,

Thanks for answering our last e-mail. No, we received no message from you in December. We had been confident that, according to our agreement, as soon as you would prepare the layout of our part you would send us the http so that we could check it and give our agreement before printing. As we had no news up to the mid-January, inspite of previous messages we had sent you, we started worrying... We were utterly surprised to find out that if we had not sent this last message, you would go on to print the CD-Rom without having our opinion! However we had been clear that our agreement to the final presentation was indispensable before printing our materials.

Viewing the site we found out that no visual work whatsoever was done on it. We had agreed that we would send you the materials in a raw form and that you would then propose us a layout. In the site as it is, there is no layout at all, just the raw materials as we sent them six months ago. We do not give our agreement that this is printed like this.

The texts are in a typography that is hard to read, there is no colour nor graphic differenciation of the titles, the images are not integrated in the texts - besides three of the photos you scanned are too dark, others are crooked in the page, etc. -, there is nothing to make the page attractive to the reader. We are afraid that pages like this will just not be read at all. Besides, with the general graphic standards of cd-roms and web sites, and even in comMoskwaon to the layout of your index pages, these pages look really too poor, like the work of someone who ignores the medium, and this is negative for our image as media artists. Users will imagine that this presentation was done by us, whereas these are just our raw materials. This was not our agreement.

We see two solutions to this situation : either an additional delay is given, and, as agreed, you propose us a layout of the materials, or, we are sorry to say, we will just prefer to retire all our materials from the cd-rom.

If a solution is found to this problem, then we will send you the list of corrections concerning the images and the captions, because there is a number of important errors, both in the main and in the index.

Besides, in the index, the photographic appendix is under the name Sybilla Redouthe only. The name Henriette Moulandouis missing. In the index called MEDIEN the name of Henriette Moulandouis not listed at all. There should also be mention of photographic credits and copyright for images and texts in our part.

Last point, if a delay is given, we would like to receive the addresses of the presentations of the other artists participating in the cd-rom, so that we can consult them.
